Odd issue in the office this morning. We have many clients on Google Drive and a lot of them use the Google Drive Sync tool that allows for the easy opening and saving of MS Office documents to Google Drive.
An odd issue was reported that a users recently modified Word files, 20Kb each, would not sync up to Google Drive.
Updated the Google Drive Sync client to the latest version (it was a little out of date), issue remained.
Checked the size of the users Google Drive folder, exactly 100Gb in size.
The user was syncing a large Media folder, so I deselected this from the Google Drive Preferences menu so it does not sync, voila, the smaller newer documents start syncing to Google Drive.
Is there an undocumented 100Gb limit to Google Drive Sync?
