SaaSAge UK Reseller of ESET Endpoint antivirus, ESET Endpoint Security, Deslock+ EncryptionQuoted Email we’ve just received from a client who has ESET anti-virus on their Android phone as part of our IT support service for Manchester organisations;

A family member was running AVG on her Android phone yet was complaining about pop-ups appearing.

AVG was replaced with ESET [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][anti-virus which is free from the Android Play store].

Scanned the phone with ESET which found 3 infections (one being a popular battery percentage app). These were removed and the pop-ups have stopped.

What more do we need to say?[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
